"What's Stopping My Business From Achieving Growth?"

Updated: Aug 21

The answer is simple. It’s you.

You might be wondering, "How am I stopping myself from achieving business growth? I work HARD."

We know you do, but hear us out.

Most of the time, when we ask people why they need help with their digital marketing, they say one thing...

"I don't have enough time."

And that’s completely understandable. Running a business is tough.

At J2, we offer a comprehensive 'done for you' service, which means we handle almost everything for you, freeing up your time for other aspects of your business.

Our starting price for social media management, content creation & ad management is $2000 + GST per month. While this might not fit every budget, it’s based on the precise processes we use to drive growth and deliver results for our clients – it’s worth the investment.

But we know that sometimes it's not feasible for every business.

That doesn't mean you should neglect this crucial part of your business. Digital marketing is essential for business growth in 2024 – there’s no avoiding it.

Consider this scenario:

It's lunchtime, and you and your friend are trying to decide where to eat. You Google local restaurants and find one that sounds perfect. You check Instagram to sneak a peek at the menu and see if the food looks good.

But you can't find them.

Rather than risking a bad meal, you choose a place with a strong online presence, where you can see exactly what you’re getting.

In 2024, social media is a powerful tool. People use these platforms as search engines to learn about your business before making a purchase decision.

Having an engaging social media presence is crucial.

So, we know why it's important. Now, let's address the other issue – time.

Running a business is hard work and incredibly time-consuming. You might not have the time to learn social media intricacies, from posting videos and writing captions to using trending audios and crafting a brand voice.

Here’s a simplified plan:

Many of you have virtual assistants for mundane tasks. Utilise them for your social media needs.

  1. Content Creation: Spend an hour filming 4-5 pieces of content for the week.

  2. Editing: Research and find a good editor. Upwork is a great place to start.

  3. Briefing: Upload your content, and have your VA send a detailed brief to the editor.

Once you get your edited content back, you’ve completed the most vital part of your organic social media strategy with just a couple of hours of work - the content creation.

If your VA has time, have them plan out your content and write your captions. If you prefer doing this yourself, go ahead.

And finally, post your content.

There are countless resources online to fit any budget, so there is no excuse for not being present online.

If you’re still thinking, "I don't have time for this," that’s where we come in.

Don't fall into the trap of thinking you have to do everything yourself. We strongly advise against this unless everything is your specialty (which let's be real, it's probably not).

To sum up today's TEDtalk: Do what you need to do and get out of the way.
